Art House Middleton is a community powered creative project bringing more art, culture and connection to Middleton.
Created by Middleton Co-operating in partnership with Culture Co-op and the people of Middleton, Art House Midd is about making creativity more accessible, creating opportunities to make, experience, share and enjoy art in the heart of the town.
We opened in a vacant unit in Middleton Shopping Centre in November 2024. Although we have since had to leave that space, it became a vibrant meeting place for the community.
We hosted:

In 2026, we launched Middleton Fringe Festival, a totally free celebration of arts and culture embedded throughout the town, working with local businesses, artists, venues and community groups.
Middleton Fringe Festival will be back in 2027 – so get in touch if you are a local business or community group and would like to be involved, and follow our socials for the latest updates!
Today, Art House Midd continues from a smaller community space behind Henstock Property (near Tesco).
We use the space for creative engagement projects and make it available free of charge to local community groups for meetings and workshops.
